MouseHeart, by Lisa Fiedler
Mouseheart is a non fiction series, including Hoppers Destiny and Return of the Forgotten. The main character is an ordinary mouse from a pet shop in Brooklyn, New York. He and his two siblings, Pinkie and Pup, live with tons of other mice, unfortunately, not with their mother. Eventually Hopper finds himself down deep in the dangerous transit tunnels under Brooklyn. He meets a kind, witty prince named Zucker, and learns of the deep truths lying beneath the lies of Romania, a rat sanctuary built by Emporor Titus, Prince Zuckers father.
Hopper is not a strong, nor brave mouse... unlike his sister Pinkie. He learns secrets of his ancestors and his father, Dodger. Dodger was a brave, smart, courageous, adventurous and daring mouse. He faced cats, rats, and many other foes. Now, it is Hoppers job to replace his father, and defeat the evil Emperor Titus and Felina, queen of cats. There are easily two words to describe Felina; gorgeous and cruel. Will Hopper be able to defeat these wicked enemies? I sure hope they do.

Glow, by Amy Kathleen Ryan
Glow is a spectacular novel by Amy Kathleen Ryan. The main characters, a couple named Kieran and Waverly, live on a space ship called the Empyrean, traveling to New Earth. Along with many other ships, they have to keep very good care of these ships. One wrong calculation could be catastrophe. As another ship, the New Horizon, is nearing the Empyrean, which was supposed to be over a hundred years ahead of them. Soon, Waverly and all the girls are captured and brung onto the New Horizon, where they find horrific secrets about the Empyreans captain, and crew. Kieran, unfortunately, is stuck on the now doomed Empyrean with tons of terryfied and angry boys. The adults are forced to fix the engies, and risk dying. All the boys who have once seen Kieran as a leader, now see him as an enemy. They barely listen to orders... when these orders may save their lives. Nearing the end, Kieran begins to earn their trust again, and finally is able to rescue Waverly from the horrible New Horizon. I really enjoyed Glow. If I had to give it a rating, I would say about 7.5/10.
